Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to support the OH team with health surveillance testing and screening programmes. The role covers Royston, Brimsdown, Cambridge and Sonning with travel to multiple JM sites as required.

You will maintain confidential OH records, assist in planning and administering health screenings, and contribute to employee wellbeing while ensuring compliance with Data Protection and NHS guidelines and departmental protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar health-care/occupational health role with hands-on technical testing (audiometry, spirometry, urinalysis, vision screening, vital signs).
• Desirable experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and administer health surveillance/screening programmes (audiometry, spirometry, urinalysis, vision screening, phlebotomy, vital signs)
• Administer tests or vaccinations in line with departmental protocols and DOH guidelines
• Maintain accurate, confidential OH records and ensure data protection compliance
• Build and maintain effective relationships with HR, EHS, managers, and employees
