The Occupational Health Technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality occupational health services to UKIM clients. This is a remote-based role with regular travel to customer sites and occasional use of the UKIM Mobile Screening Unit to support service delivery across client locations.
Acting as an on-site occupational health resource, the post holder will support the delivery of health surveillance programmes and wellbeing initiatives. Working directly with clients across multiple locations, you will represent UKIM professionally while building positive working relationships with customer stakeholders and employees.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and supporting a range of health surveillance activities, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with clinical protocols, contractual requirements, and client expectations. This includes setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment within client premises or the Mobile Screening Unit where required.
You will manage, refer, and progress health surveillance cases in accordance with UKIM service level agreements, providing a proactive, professional, and customer-focused service. The role requires a commitment to delivering high standards of care, identifying and escalating clinical concerns where necessary, and supporting the continuous improvement of occupational health services.
