Job summary

Purosearch Ltd is recruiting a Trainee Occupational Health Technician in Crewkerne to join a mobile team delivering health surveillance services across the UK. This permanent, full-time role offers comprehensive training, variety of duties and the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while travelling.

You will travel to client sites in a Mobile Medical Unit, perform baseline measurements (audiometry, spirometry, BP, height and weight), record data, support Occupational Health Nurses

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare, emergency services or clinical support environment.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Good understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Trainee Occupational Health Technician

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year + Excellent Benefits

Hours: Between 8am and 6pm, occasional nights

Are you looking for a rewarding healthcare role with full training, variety, and the opportunity to travel? We're looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join a growing mobile team, delivering health surveillance services to clients across the UK.

Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, Army Medic, or you're a sports Science graduate with experience taking baseline measurements, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

About you

Essential Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Aged 21 or over (vehicle insurance requirement).
• Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK with regular overnight stays.
• Ability to park a Mobile Medical Unit at or near your home.

You’ll receive a comprehensive 3-week induction and training programme, followed by ongoing mentoring and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.

This is a mobile role covering the Southwest with occasional nationwide travel. You can expect to be away from home for approximately 3 weeks out of every 4, returning home each Friday for the weekend.
