Qualifications

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Technician to join our team, primarily covering the Midlands area. The role involves travel to client sites, mobile screening units, or RPS Clinics, with regular overnight stays and travel across the UK and Ireland.

The salary ranges from £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, with overtime opportunities potentially increasing earnings to around £30,000 annually.

What you’ll be doing
  • Audiometry and Spirometry
  • Skin assessments and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)
  • Fitness for work medicals (driver, height work, vision screening)
  • Drug & alcohol testing
  • Venepuncture
  • Wellbeing medical and health promotion
  • Driving a mobile screening unit nationwide (UK & Ireland)
Who we’re looking for
  • Experience in occupational health, including health surveillance or fitness for work medicals
  • Willingness to undertake overnight stays and extensive travel within the UK
  • Full UK driving license and experience or willingness to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Proficient in IT (MS Office and electronic medical records systems)
  • Ability to work independently
