Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Manager based at Bedford Hospital. You will lead the day-to-day delivery and development of the Occupational Health Service, ensuring staff, systems and resources are managed effectively and employees receive a responsive, high-quality service.

Working with the wider team, you will provide specialist clinical advice, manage referrals, health surveillance, immunisations and vaccination programmes, and

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in leading an Occupational Health team and managing a service.
• Strong communication, analytical and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and development of the Bedford Hospital Occupational Health Service.
• Provide specialist clinical advice to managers and staff across the Trust.
• Develop staff, audit activity, and contribute to policy and accreditation.
• Ensure data protection, immunisation, health surveillance and vaccination programmes.
• Travel between Trust sites when required.
