About the role
What does the average day look like?
You will be at the heart of our Occupational Health team, conducting clinical assessments in line with standards and protocols, including health surveillance, fitness-to-work evaluations, and management referrals. You will craft reports following Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines, providing insights on fitness for work and necessary adjustments while maintaining confidentiality.
You will also liaise with Occupational Health, Human Resources, and Line Managers to address issues and trends, supervise Occupational Health Technicians, manage employee health records in compliance with legal requirements, and contribute to data collection and reporting to monitor performance.
We seek a candidate with experience as a General Nurse registered on Part 1 or Part 3 of the NMC register, with qualifications in occupational health (diploma, degree, or MSc). Strong interpersonal, communication, IT skills, and knowledge of relevant legislation and GDPR compliance are essential.
