Job summary

ExamWorks Group in Burton-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing team. You will manage a varied caseload and deliver services that improve workplace health.

The role is full-time onsite, collaborating with HR and managers, requiring NMC registration and at least 2 years of Occupational Health experience. A proactive, concise, workplace-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with OH background or working towards OH qualification
• Minimum 2 years' Occupational Health experience
• Experience with Health Surveillance and Fitness for Work assessments
• Experience conducting Safety Critical Medicals is desirable
• Strong case management and report-writing skills
• Understanding of SEQOHS standards and OH legislation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of OH services including fitness for work, sickness absence management and rehabilitation
• Conduct pre-employment assessments and immunisation programmes
• Advise managers and HR on OH matters and workplace adjustments
• Deliver high-quality OH services to influence workplace health and wellbeing
• Work with Lead OH Nurse and HR teams across the business

We're recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing team based in Burton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an autonomous OH professional who enjoys managing a varied caseload, working closely with employees and managers, and delivering high-quality Occupational Health services that positively impact workplace health and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll provide the full range of Occupational Health services, including:

• Fitness for Work assessments
• Sickness absence management
• Vocational rehabilitation
• Pre-employment assessments
• Safety Critical Medicals
• Immunisations and vaccination programmes
• Workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
• Advising managers and HR on Occupational Health matters
• Providing guidance on workplace adjustments and return-to-work plans

You’ll work independently while collaborating closely with the Lead Occupational Health Nurse, HR teams and key stakeholders across the business.

What We're Looking For

• NMC Registered Nurse
