Job description

The Occupational Health Advisor & WorkWell Team Lead will provide advanced occupational health expertise, clinical leadership, and operational management to support individuals with health conditions, disabilities, and complex barriers to remain in work, return to employment, or access sustainable employment opportunities.
The post holder will lead the delivery of the WorkWell service across the Integrated Care System (ICS), ensuring the provision of high-quality, person-centred interventions that improve health, wellbeing, and employment outcomes. They will oversee referral triage, case management, workforce performance, and service development while providing specialist occupational health advice to employers, employees, healthcare professionals, and partner organisations.
Working autonomously within professional scope of practice, the post holder will exercise expert clinical judgement in complex situations, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with occupational health standards, NHS governance requirements, employment legislation, safeguarding responsibilities, and WorkWell programme objectives.
FedBucks is a not-for-profit GP federation of 45 GP practices covering a population of over 550,000 patients across Buckinghamshire. We began in 2016 and now employ around 300 members of staff at our head office site, and across our planned and unplanned care services.
