Job summary

Optima Health is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join our team in Macclesfield. The role involves three days on client site undertaking case management and health surveillance, with two days remote case management for various clients.

You will perform health screenings, pre-employment assessments and fitness-for-work reporting as appropriate. You will advise employees on physical and mental health issues, upholding high standards of occupational healthcare.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor.
• Current NMC Registration.
• Ability to travel to client site where required on a weekly basis.
• HAVS, Audio & Spirometry would be desirable however not essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake case management (face to face and remote) and health surveillance/fitness to work.
• Undertake workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to health.
• Advise employees on physical and mental health problems, maintaining high standards of occupational healthcare.
