Job summary

Optima Health is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join our onsite team in Crewe. The role involves conducting health surveillance, pre-employment assessments, and fitness-for-work medicals, while delivering expert clinical advice to support employee wellbeing on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse with an Occupational Health qualification and current NMC registration, comfortable travelling to clinics across the region.

Qualifications

• OH qualification is essential for this role.
• Registered General Nurse with previous experience as an Occupational Health Advisor.
• Current NMC Registration is required.
• A full UK driving licence is a must for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Conducting health surveillance, pre-employment assessments, and fitness-for-work medicals
• Delivering evidence-based advice and managing occupational health cases with professionalism and compassion
• Promoting a proactive approach to workplace health, wellbeing, and injury prevention
• Managing a caseload of approximately six cases per day, ensuring every employee receives high-quality care and attention
