Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a competitive salary of £40,000–£45,000 and a varied range of clinical services to support workplace health and wellbeing.

You will manage OH caseloads, deliver fitness-for-work assessments, health surveillance, and provide professional occupational health advice to clients, while maintaining records and CPD commitments.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate OH qualification required.
• NMC registered RGN (Part 1) with current registration.
• Experience in OH case management is essential.
• Competence in spirometry and audiometry.

Responsibilities

• Manage OH caseload; advise on fitness for work and return-to-work planning.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based management referral reports.
• Advise managers on OH matters and best practice.
• Conduct health surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments and medicals.
• Carry out spirometry, audiometry, and drug/alcohol screening.
