Job summary

Regional Recruitment is recruiting an experienced O&M Engineer to join an established business operating within the solar and renewable energy sector.

This hands-on role involves maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of solar energy systems across multiple sites, with autonomy on-site and remote support for asset performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in O&M, electrical engineering or renewable energy.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and maintenance management.
• 17th or 18th Edition.
• 2391 or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Renewable energy qualifications/experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and technical faults
• Supporting the ongoing performance and reliability of solar assets
• Carrying out electrical maintenance and engineering tasks
• Working with clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supporting long-term asset optimisation and performance improvements
• Travelling to solar park sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas

Midlands Based | £45,000+ DOE | Company Van + Fuel Card

Permanent, Full-Time | Hybrid

We're currently recruiting for an experienced O&M Engineer to join an established business operating within the solar and renewable energy sector.

This is a hands‑on role involving the maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of solar energy systems across a range of sites. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently on-site, while also supporting wider maintenance and asset performance activities remotely.
