Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting an experienced O&M Engineer to join a renewables-focused business operating across the solar sector in the Midlands. This permanent, full-time role is hybrid and includes a company van, fuel card, pension etc.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, fault-finding and optimisation of solar energy systems at multiple sites, with travel across the Midlands. You should have 17th/18th Edition and experience in preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in O&M, electrical engineering or renewables.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and maintenance management.
• 17th or 18th Edition.
• 2391 or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Renewable energy qualifications/experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on solar energy systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and technical faults.
• Supporting the ongoing performance and reliability of solar assets.
• Carrying out electrical maintenance and engineering tasks.

Midlands Based | £45,000+ DOE | Company Van + Fuel Card

Permanent, Full-Time | Hybrid

We're currently recruiting for an experienced O&M Engineer to join an established business operating within the solar and renewable energy sector.

This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of solar energy systems across a range of sites. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently on-site, while also supporting wider maintenance and asset performance activities remotely.
