Job summary

Williams F1 Racing Team is seeking a CAD Systems Specialist to own our Siemens NX environment, shape the CAD/CAE/CAM workflows, and drive digital transformation across the PLM team. You will design plugins and automation using NX Open APIs, support incidents, and deliver training to ensure teams maximise the value of our CAD platforms in a fast-paced motorsport setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading CAD implementations, ideally with Siemens NX.
• Deep understanding of NX and CAD-CAE-CAM workflows.
• Hands-on experience in NX configuration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
• Experience with systems integration, data migration, and enterprise IT environments.
• Proficiency in coding, with knowledge of Python, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Continuous Improvement programmes.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom plugins, automation scripts, and extensions using NX Open APIs.
• Monitor system performance and support major incidents as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement across CAD/PLM workflows.
• Lead change management with documentation, training, and user adoption support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to scope.
