Job summary

Mental Health Care Uk Ltd in Hoylake is seeking a Cook to join a small residential service at Meols Drive. You will support the team to deliver high quality, nutritious meals while maintaining strict hygiene and recording requirements.

The role requires kitchen experience and Level 2 Food Hygiene and Food Preparation, with knowledge of diets such as dysphagia and diabetes. 40 hours per week, salary £13.45–£14.03 per hour plus benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support the team and service in delivering high quality, healthy and nutritionally focused food with safe hygiene practices.
• Meet all current guidelines and requirements, including recording and documentation.
• Support residents’ health, cultural and religious needs and offer healthy food options with resident feedback.
• Accurately order food provisions and manage stock levels to avoid over/under ordering and stay within budget.
