Disability North is seeking a female Bank Staff Personal Assistant to support a 5-year-old girl with Autism and sensory needs in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is paid at £14.00 per hour and covers holidays and absences with occasional overnight shifts.

The ideal candidate will be kind, patient and experienced with additional needs, able to handle EpiPen procedures, and hold a valid driving licence with own car. Training can be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for a child with autism and sensory needs.
• Ability to manage medical needs including EpiPens.
• Reliable, patient and nurturing with children.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and companionship to the child.
• Attend monthly overnight stays and one Saturday morning per month.
• Safely transport to activities when required.
• Promote engaging sensory activities and emotional well-being.
