Axcis Education in Cheltenham is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school for a November 2026 start. You will support EYFS pupils, work with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, and provide individual or small-group support to help children learn and flourish.

Formación

• Has previous experience working with Early Years or primary-aged children.
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
• Is nurturing, patient and enthusiastic.
• Can build positive relationships with young children.
• Is confident supporting children with a range of abilities and needs.
• Works well as part of a team and can follow guidance from teaching and SEND professionals.
• Is passionate about helping children develop confidence and a love of learning.

Responsabilidades

• Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support where required.
• Encourage children's communication, social, emotional and academic development.
• Help promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Support children with additional needs and adapt activities to meet individual requirements.
• Assist with classroom routines and create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
