Job summary

Premier Education Ltd. is seeking an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant in Warrington for a long-term, full-time position. You will support young learners, including those with additional needs, in a nurturing EYFS environment.

The role involves one-to-one and small-group support, promoting communication, social and emotional development, and helping children feel happy, confident and included in school.

Qualifications

• Experience in EYFS and SEND settings is essential.
• Calm, caring and able to build strong relationships with young children.
• Able to understand that every child communicates and learns differently.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and happy to get involved in all aspects of Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Support children within an Early Years setting, including pupils with additional needs.
• Provide individual and small-group support where required.
• Help children develop communication, social and emotional skills.
• Support learning through play and engaging Early Years activities.
• Assist with routines, transitions and regulation.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team.
• Create a safe, positive and nurturing environment for every child.
