Job summary

HealthJobs4U Ltd is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to provide nurturing, inclusive care and high-quality early learning in a Scottish setting.

You will promote children's wellbeing through play-based learning, observation and strong safeguarding practice, in line with Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC guidelines.

Your role requires teamwork, reflective practice and commitment to ongoing professional development to create safe, engaging environments for every child.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7 qualification in Early Learning and Childcare (or equivalent).
• Registration with the SSSC or eligibility to register.
• PVG scheme membership and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding, child protection and health and safety compliance.
• Provide high-quality, child-centred learning experiences.
• Develop secure relationships with children and families.
• Plan, observe, assess and document children's development.
• Promote inclusive, play-based learning and GIRFEC principles.
• Contribute to team planning and learning journals.
