Norcot Early Years Centre in Reading is seeking a Nurture Assistant to join a warm, enthusiastic team. The role supports a keyworker for a group of children, aligns with the revised EYFS, and requires inclusive practice and a caring, flexible approach.

The post is permanent, part-time (35 hours) during term time with five staff training days; salary £21,019–£21,406 per year. Closing date 2 November 2026 and DBS checks will be sought.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in an early years environment.
• Experience with children with SEN.
• Commitment to inclusive, nondiscriminatory childcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist a keyworker for a group of children.
• Complete relevant paperwork and work to EYFS.
• Model positive social interaction and play.
• Demonstrate inclusive practice at all times.
