Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an experienced Nursing Support Worker to join the Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC). This role supports adult patients in a fast-paced environment, contributing to assessment, diagnosis, and care planning to enable same-day discharge.

The post requires flexibility across seven days with rotational duties. Welsh language ability is desirable; candidates documenting Welsh proficiency are welcomed in English or Welsh.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a health care related subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience in direct patient care in health or social care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Join the dedicated team on the Same Day Emergency Care Unit.
• Liaise with team members and service users in patient care.
• The ability to work flexibly with rotational shifts across the Adult Clinical Decisions Unit (ACDU).
