Job summary

Willing Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a Derby-based home in the United Kingdom. You will assume full clinical and operational leadership to ensure the highest standards of person-centred care and maintain the Good CQC rating.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN, proven managerial experience in a nursing home, and strong team leadership and financial acumen.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN (RGN/RMN) is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing home setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and inspection processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead clinically and operationally at the highest level.
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care to older adults.
  • Sound financial and business management acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Take full clinical and operational responsibility for day-to-day management of the nursing home.
  • Ensure delivery of outstanding person-centred care across all areas of the home.
  • Maintain and build upon the home's Good CQC rating through compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated nursing and care team.
  • Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management, and audit processes.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively and sustainably.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Act as the Registered Manager with CQC, taking accountability for regulatory requirements.
  • Drive a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the home.

They are now looking for an experienced and clinically qualified Nursing Home Manager to take overall responsibility for the clinical and operational leadership of the home - ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner, in full compliance with CQC's fundamental standards of quality and safety.

What Our Client Is Looking For
