Eastleigh Care Homes Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Operative for our Minehead Nursing Home. You will help run the building’s maintenance, grounds, and safety tasks to support a comfortable living environment for residents.

You’ll undertake general repairs, safety checks, and routine servicing. Training is provided, with opportunities to progress within a caring, resident-focused team and to contribute to a well-maintained home.

Formación

• Must have real can-do attitude and basic maintenance skills.
• Decorating, plumbing and electrical skills are required or to be developed.
• PAT testing knowledge or willingness to complete the course at our expense.
• Ability to use an iPad and Outlook for emails; Legionella knowledge or willingness to train.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain buildings, fixtures and grounds to high standards.
• Complete statutory and non-statutory tasks with auditable records.
• Perform regular PAT testing and record results.
• Record and update tasks using the maintenance logging system.
• Assist residents and work with the care team to maintain rooms and surroundings.
