Job summary

Century Healthcare Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Estates and Maintenance team, working across our care homes in the Lytham area. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, you will help maintain safe, welcoming environments for residents, staff and visitors.

This role covers general maintenance, repairs, routine safety checks and compliance tasks. No previous maintenance experience is required as full training will be provided; you will learn practical skills across a range of

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Flexible for occasional evenings/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks within your level of competence.
• Complete routine maintenance, safety and compliance checks and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and report maintenance, health and safety or compliance issues.
• Assist with basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, DIY and other general maintenance tasks.
• Support with the upkeep of gardens and external areas.
