The Shrubbery Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook to join our friendly team, providing high-quality meals for residents and supporting our caring culture. You will follow a four-week rotating menu, prepare meals to meet dietary needs, and help maintain safety and quality across the kitchen.

We offer ongoing training and career development within Clarendon Care Group Ltd, with a focus on compassionate care for our elderly residents.

Competenze

• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above)
• Understanding of Safer Foods Better Business
• Experience with varying dietary requirements
• Empathy towards elderly residents
• Desire to progress your career in this rewarding environment

Mansioni

• Provide wholesome, nutritious meals for residents following a four weekly rotating menu
• Cater for special dietary requirements such as modified texture meals following the IDDSI framework, religious preferences, fortification, diabetes, and other needs
• All temperature records kept up to date along with cleaning rotas and all food safety requirements
• Minimise waste and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Supervise kitchen assistants, order stock, manage kitchen
• Ensure the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy
