Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate to provide compassionate post-operative care on Ward 11. You will work as part of a skilled surgical team, supporting safe recovery for patients undergoing elective major surgery.

You will contribute to assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, escalating concerns as needed and supporting Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathways to ensure timely discharge.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NMC registration.
• Experience in post-operative care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-operative nursing care to patients.
• Assist with assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care.
• Recognise changes in a patient’s condition and escalate concerns promptly.
