Special Care Baby Unit is a 12-bedded unit caring for babies from 30 weeks gestational age, 24 hours a day.

This post is predominantly night shift, with occasional day shifts for clinics, unit cover, and training sessions.

The role involves providing high standards of care to patients, embracing trust values, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and maintaining flexibility.

Responsibilities include supporting babies and families, working alongside registered nurses, communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary team, and attending training.

The post mainly involves night shifts, with occasional day shifts for tongue tie clinics and training, for which training will be provided.
