Job summary

Little Elms Daycare in Beckenham is seeking a Third in Charge to support daily operations and lead the nursery in the Manager’s absence. You will oversee staff, ensure safe, high-quality childcare, and promote excellent early years practices.

The role requires Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, EYFS knowledge, and strong communication. Beckenham location with potential travel and 40 hours per week over four days.

Description

We are seeking a Third in Charge at our Beckenham Queens Road nursery. The successful candidate will assist in managing daily operations, providing leadership, and ensuring high-quality childcare services.

Skills:

Key Responsibilities

We are currently for a skilled and experienced Nursery Third in Charge to be based in our BeckenhamNursery. The nursery offers state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms along with fabulous outdoor areas.
You can earn up to £32760 per annum, depending on experience, working Full time (40 hours per week) – 4 days a week.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• At least 1 years’ experience in a Nursery Practitioner role or equivalent
• Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Your passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with children
