Qualifications

• Classroom based experience in Early Years - 0-5 years required.
• Level 2 and Level 3 newly qualified Teaching Assistants welcome.

• Assist with strong classroom and behavior management.

Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Kirkby, Knowsley
Start Date: September 2025

Pay £89.00 - £100 daily

CER Education is supporting a 3 form entry primary school in Kirkby in their recruitment of a FULL TIME Nursery Teaching Assistant. This role will start in September 2025 and will run potentially for the full academic year to July 2026.

Level 2 and Level 3 newly qualified Teaching Assistants welcome to apply.

What you'll need

• Teaching Assistant qualification with classroom based experience in Early Years - 0-5 years
• Personal care / SEMH support experience
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independantly and as part of a team
• To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
