The School and Role

This busy and friendly, two-form entry Primary School in Huyton, Knowsley are looking for a passionate and driven Teaching Assistant to support the teacher in a class of 21 cohorts. The role will have a requirement of 1-1 interventions, as well as general teaching assistant responsibilities so experience working with children is essential. The school were rated as a 'Good' school overall in their most recent Ofsted inspection, with a focus on how pupils behave well and share warm relationships with staff, and how pupils are happy and feel safe. The role will predominantly be based in Key Stage 1, however experiences working across various Key Stages would be favourable as staff are required to be adaptable from time to time.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience with children and/or young people
• Proactive, personable with a real positive can-do attitude
• Have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
