Justteachers are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming nursery, dedicated to providing a stimulating environment for young children. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children aged 0-5 years. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, preparing learning materials, and ensuring the well-being of all children.

The role will begin in September 2025 for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities
• Support children's social and emotional development
• Prepare and organise learning materials and resources
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Observe and report on children's progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a nursery or early childhood setting preferred
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Two references covering the last two years
