Job summary

Glenbrook Nursery School is seeking a part-time Nursery Teacher to deliver planned lessons and support early childhood development. The role requires a teaching qualification recognised to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland, and registration with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland.

The post is 1 day per week (Wednesday) with pro rata pay (£32,916 - £50,876 per annum). Commitment to safeguarding, pupil welfare and collaboration with staff and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification recognised to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland.
• Minimum of 6 months demonstrable teaching experience.
• Registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) before taking up post.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare courses and lessons for nursery pupils.
• Teach according to pupils' educational needs, set and mark work.
• Assess, record and report on pupil development and attainment.
• Promote pupil progress and well-being, provide guidance and parental communication.
