Job summary

N Family Club Reading, Berkshire is seeking a Nursery Room Manager to lead a team of Educators in our Reading nursery. You will drive the learning through play ethos, deliver the N Curriculum, and ensure exceptional care and education in a welcoming environment.

You will coach staff, plan daily routines, build strong relationships with parents, and uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards as part of our mission to be the UK's most loved early years education group.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational settings.
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and compliance.
• Safeguarding/child protection training and ongoing updates.
• Passion for education and changing children's lives.

As a Room Manager at N Family, you’ll lead an incredible team of expert Educators in one of our nursery family rooms. As a specialist in early years education, you’ll be the driving force behind passionate, innovative teaching. Your key responsibilities

• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning.
• Embed and role-model our safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.

Our Room Managers should have...

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
• For Baby Room Managers, you will need previous experience working with children under 2.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.

• A solid decision-maker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals).
