Job summary

N Family Club Maidenhead is seeking a Room Manager to lead a team of Educators in one of our nursery rooms. You will champion our ‘learning through play’ ethos, drive the N Curriculum, and ensure outstanding care and education while supporting colleagues to reach their goals.

You will build strong relationships with parents, model safeguarding and health and safety, and help shape daily routines from meals to naps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner).
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• Background in delivering consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and willingness to update training regularly.
• Genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• Positive, glass-half-full outlook with drive and motivation to make things happen.
• Solid decision-maker supporting and achieving Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).

Our Room Managers should have...

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
• For Baby Room Managers, you will need previous experience working with children under 2.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
• Bags of drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude!
• A solid decision‑maker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals).
