Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Crawley is seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader for maternity cover. You will lead the room day to day, sparking curiosity, encouraging creativity, and ensuring learning is fun while building strong bonds with children and families.

The role requires a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, EYFS knowledge, planning/observation/record-keeping, and a valid Enhanced DBS check. Salary from £30,077 per annum.

Qualifications

• Qualified NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and planning activities.
• Experience in planning, observing and keeping records for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the room day-to-day activities and learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
