Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Room Leader for our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abingdon Park, Abingdon. The role involves caring for children, supporting staff, and promoting high standards in a welcoming, child-focused environment.

You will lead playroom teams, ensure EYFS compliance, and provide constructive feedback to families, while enjoying strong benefits and opportunities for progression within Grandir UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years childcare and a desire to lead a room.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately.
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child.
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff.
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.
