Grandir UK’s Grange Park nursery is seeking a caring Room Leader to lead a dedicated room team and deliver engaging, development-focused activities in line with EYFS. You will act as a key person supporting each child’s needs, observe progress, and maintain safe, well-organised environments.

Qualifications

• Lead and support your room team, creating a positive and welcoming environment for children, families and colleagues.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Act as a key person, ensuring every child’s individual needs, interests and development is supported.
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning and development records.
• Ensure the room is safe, stimulating, well organised and appropriately resourced.
• Build strong and trusting relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s development.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep, toileting and personal care
• Promote inclusion and adapt activities to support children with additional needs
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance
• Provide guidance, coaching and feedback to practitioners, apprentices and students
• Organise staff deployment and daily routines to maintain appropriate ratios and effective room cover
