Monkey Puzzle Guildford is seeking a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to lead and support a dedicated team in a caring early years setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality EYFS environments and safeguarding practices, ensuring children thrive under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Safeguarding Knowledge
• At least 2 year's experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.

• Engaging your team to create inspirational, creative and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery

• Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
• Implementation the EYFS with a good understanding of child development
• Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services

• Positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery
• Clear and accurate record keeping and report writing
• Promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery including practice, environment and resources in line with our nursery expectations
