Job summary

Kids Planet Wigston is seeking a Room Leader to lead a nursery room, delivering high-quality care and education aligned with EYFS. You will support and guide your team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.

Building strong relationships with children and families is essential to meet individual needs and support learning. You must hold at least Level 3 UK recognised early years qualification, with excellent EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery to ensure high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Support and guide the team to foster a positive, collaborative environment and promote professional development.

How you’ll make a difference as a Room Leader:

By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.

Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.

What a Room Leader needs:

Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.

Excellent understanding of EYFS.

Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
