Job summary

Busy Bees Burchetts Green is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to plan and execute age-appropriate activities within your room, fostering a safe, inclusive environment and tracking children's progress for families.

You'll lead a high-performing team, act as Key Person, ensure health and safety, and contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum across the Busy Bees group, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in supervisory roles within early years settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment. Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families. About our Nursery Busy Bees Burchetts Green, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 84 children and offers ample outdoor space for exploration and play. We enhance learning experiences with visits to the zoo on the BCA college grounds and work in partnership with the college to provide valuable placements for new practitioners.
