Job summary

Busy Bees, the UK's leading nursery group, invites applications for a Nursery Room Leader/Manager to lead a dedicated room under their Bee Curious curriculum. You will plan age-appropriate activities, supervise a team, support children's development, and maintain strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 in Early Years, have supervisory experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and parent relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive learning environment.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children and communicate progress to parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
