Our successful Colliers Wood nursery is an OFSTED Good graded nursery with Outstanding features specifically regarding Personal Development and we are thrilled to have opened our second setting in Esher in 2022.
At Flourish Day Nursery, we truly understand the importance of the first 5 vital years in every child’s life. Our main aim is to provide a safe, fun, stimulating yet motivated environment to help each child reach their full potential to FLOURISH into even more amazing humans.
We aim to achieve that by encouraging, motivating, engaging and inspiring children through positive outdoor experiences, closely entwined with the concepts of free flow play and learning from play.
We strongly focus on embedding emotional intelligence in children by ensuring the understanding of emotions and how to express them positively through actions and words.
Flourish Day Nursery has a mixture of our own bespoke early years curriculum and an emphasis on natural resources to spark children’s natural curiosity, along with regular use of outdoor learning in the local community throughout the week, covering all seven 7 areas of the EYFS.

Flourish Day Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All applicants invited to interview will be required to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK and complete a suitability declaration. Successful applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references from previous employers and, where appropriate, provide a certificate of good conduct before starting work with the nursery. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the nursery is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
