About the role:

Dust off your magic wand and join us as a Room Manager, where the learning never stops! We’ll give you opportunities to learn and develop the skills needed to build your career in our Little Pioneers nurseries.

We’re looking for qualified Room Managers to help us deliver our vision of being the leading Childcare provider.

There’s no better place than our Oxford Station nursery, which has a GOOD rating from OFSTED! We’ve relocated to a trendy new cabin beside the train station, with great links to bus routes and free car parking. If the train is your way of getting into work, you’ll be at the nursery in no time.

Jordanne, our Nursery Manager, has led the team for four years with Zoe. They shared: “We are like one big family here; colleagues work exceptionally well together, respect one another, and provide amazing home-from-home experiences for the children.” Over 96% of our practitioners have shared that Jordanne cares about their wellbeing. Read more about our nursery on Day Nurseries.

Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible hours, we have positions to suit your work-life balance because sometimes our superpowers need a rest too!

What will the role involve?

  • Leadership: Lead, support, and inspire your team, setting an example for your colleagues.
  • Planning and Assessment: Take ownership of planning, observations, and assessments in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Training Advisors to achieve outstanding results for children.
  • Teaching Excellence: Support the education and development of your key children through high-quality teaching and learning.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a passionate, inspiring, and compassionate individual who will bring their magic to achieve outstanding outcomes for our children:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification (Essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check (we’ll cover the costs)
  • Open, honest, and compassionate
  • Inspiring and passionate about early years and working with children

What can we offer you?

Our roles come with fantastic benefits:

  • Career Growth: Opportunities within the nursery and society-wide, including potential progression to nursery manager or other roles.
  • Colleague Recognition: We celebrate colleagues daily and on special days like National Practitioner Day.
  • Learning and Development: Support through supervisions, personal development plans, learning resources, and award-winning LEAP Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Discounts and Perks: Up to 20% off food shopping, £500 off holidays, 60% off childcare fees (up to £7000 savings annually), and an OUTSTANDING bonus if OFSTED rating is achieved.
  • Wellbeing: Resources and tools for financial and mental wellbeing, including wellbeing apps.
  • Doing Good Together: Up to 3 days volunteer leave within working hours.

Our child-centric approach prioritizes fun, nurturing a kinder, more considerate generation. Your skills will help us ensure colleagues, families, and children rate us as outstanding.
