Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. is seeking a Room Leader in Greater London to oversee multiple rooms and drive the Bee Curious curriculum across the centre. This leadership role involves inspiring a team to deliver high-quality care and learning, and coordinating child development alongside parents and staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 qualification in early years education with supervisory experience. You’ll join a welcoming nursery with strong Ofsted feedback and opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Supervisory experience in an early years setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children; track progress and communicate with parents.
• Take on Key Person responsibilities for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and environment remains clean and secure.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Cheam, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 88 children and features a warm and friendly staff team dedicated to providing a wide range of activities for the children. Our nursery boasts two gardens, offering ample outdoor space for exploration and play. While we do not have onsite parking, all local roads offer free parking, making it convenient for parents. Additionally, we are very close to bus stops with routes towards Worcester Park, Croydon, Morden, and Sutton, and we are about a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station, ensuring easy access for families in our welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
