Marylebone Recruitment Ltd in Bermondsey is seeking a Full-Time Room Leader to join a dedicated childcare team. You will lead the room, oversee daily activities in line with EYFS, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of leading a room in the UK, strong leadership and communication, and a solid EYFS understanding. Right to Work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a room or team in a nursery or early years setting in the UK.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS and planning/monitoring children’s learning.
• Ability to maintain learning records and act as Key Person.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:30pm (40 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, qualified childcare professional to join a dedicated team in Bermondsey as a Full-Time Room Leader. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help provide high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting the room team to provide high-quality care and education.
• Overseeing the planning and delivery of daily activities in line with the nursery’s curriculum and the EYFS framework.
• Acting as a Key Person, maintaining accurate learning and development records.
• Ensuring the environment is safe, welcoming, and meets all health and safety requirements.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience leading a room or team in a nursery or early years setting in the UK.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to use your own initiative.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS and experience in planning and monitoring children’s learning and development.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
• Must have a valid Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
