Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of an allocated room, ensuring top standards of care and development. You will lead by example, mentor colleagues, and foster a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to reach their full potential.

We require NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and proven Early Years experience with strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of allocated room and maintain high standards of care, learning and development.
• Support and mentor colleagues, creating a nurturing environment where children are happy, safe and inspired.
• Lead by example to ensure outstanding care and learning experiences for all children.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to promote child growth and well-being.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
