Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of a dedicated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and development. You will lead by example, mentor staff and foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe and inspired to reach their full potential.

The role emphasises safeguarding, excellent leadership and strong communication, with ongoing professional development and recognition. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience in an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of your allocated room with high standards of care and development
• Support and mentor colleagues to create a nurturing environment
• Ensure children feel happy, safe and inspired to reach their full potential
• Complete Enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
