Job summary

Danetree Primary School is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of the nursery provision, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for young learners.

You will lead with vision, build strong partnerships with families and professionals, and deliver high‑quality teaching aligned with current pedagogy. This role offers ongoing professional development within a supportive cluster.

Qualifications

• Early Years Level 3 qualification required.
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
• Current paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Up to date safeguarding training.
• Strong teaching experience in Early Years with an understanding of current pedagogy.
• Experience working in a nursery or school setting.
• Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development.
• High standard of written and oral communication.

Danetree Primary School is seeking a committed and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of their nurturing and engaging nursery provision.

What we're looking for:

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary:£28,009 FTE

Pro rata salary: £22,991.58

Hours: 34.35hrs a week - Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday 8.20am – 3.30pm & Weds 8.20am - 4.30pm (39 weeks incl. INSET)

Grade: GLF Specialist Point 1

Contract: Permanent
