Job summary

Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water seeks a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, drive the Bee Curious curriculum and ensure exceptional care and learning standards across the centre.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage health and safety, fulfil Key Person duties and track child progress, while building strong partnerships with families and the local community.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and building relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" nursery with a capacity of 56, offering exceptional childcare across two floors in three age-appropriate base rooms. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
