Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead educational activities, and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is integrated across the centre.

You will inspire your team, uphold high standards of care and learning, manage health and safety, and build strong relationships with families as the Key Person for a group of children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning and execution of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high‑performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Busy Bees St Matthews nursery, rated "Good" by Ofsted, is a beautifully converted church that provides a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children to thrive. With a capacity of 111, our nursery is designed to give children everything they need to grow, develop, and prepare for school.The stunning architecture of St Matthews Nursery is integrated into various activities and areas for exploration, including cozy reading corners tucked behind exposed brick archways and main play areas flooded with natural light from vast windows. Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
